Where would you recommend parking cars for the walk? My friend and I who going were discussing it and weren't sure if it should be at the beginning or near the end and walk the way to the Hollywood and Vine.
Hehe, we're lame asses who think about these things.
Great question. Hmmm, I think there are several pay garages in the vicinity of Hollywood and Highland? I'll definitely find out and post before it happens.

Theres a parking garage at Hollywood and Highland as well as random lots on Hollywood Blvd.
Hope this helps.

Perhaps you should consider ending up at the Echo in Echo park, as Gwenchal Jackfani and the Hollaback Zombies are doing a short show at midnight. See here: http://www.bootiela.com/

We'll be done well before midnight, but thanks for the tip. I'll put the word out among attendees and definitely try and catch it myself.
I'm totally going and trying to drag as many people that I know with me.. preferably I'll be dragging them till their dead.. possibly in pieces ;)
The "Aisha Clan" Clan (anti zombie task force) will be there... as zombies. OH SWEET IRONY!!!!!
This is great I was talking to friends about doing this on Rodeo Drive, I was always to flakey to put it together. I will definately try to make it!
You're doing this on the weekend I will be in Portland for the HP Lovecraft Film Festival! DAMN YOU! Anyway, can you do it again? Maybe get the same people on Nov. 11 to show off Dapper Cadaver? I am involved with UCLA's Enigma club, so I can probably get a dozen or more shambling corpses to follow me (it has always been a dream of mine to control a zombie horde...a dream, of course, because zombie hordes cannot be controlled). Thanks, and good shambling on the 7th! I hope you make the news! I am jealous already!

Depending on how this one works out, I would LOVE to do a sequel (or a string of sequels). At the very least it could be an annual thing - but we'll see.
Thanks for the well wishes, and sorry you can't make it! Watch this space for info on future walks (since I go back and forth between the central coast and L.A., I'm thinking about following this with a Santa Barbara one...)
Hey, a friend of mine was posting about this on Myspace and she included a link to this live journal and I hope this does not seem like spam but I figured some of the people doing the walk might be interested. On October 7th at midnight we'll be doing a screening of Zombie. I just think this is just so perfect. Zombies invading Hollywood and a screening of Zombie that very same night! So if anyone is curious feel free to contact me or here is the MySpace link. Contact info is on my live journal. Thanks! http://www.myspace.com/regentmidnight

Not the least bit spam! Awesome!
Well cool. I hope some of you guys can make it, especially as zombies. :-)
I'll be the zombie chef. Looking forward to meeting some of you!
I'm working on the fake gore right now.
Well, I ended up getting stuck at work late. It's a quarter to five and I'm an hour from Hollywood. No way I'll have time to do the make-up (takes abut two hours to do right, an hour for a rush job)and drive over and make it.
I definately want to do it next time though. I'm really bummed.
